Back 2 School Bash
Each July, our Back 2 School Bash equips hundreds of local children with the tools they need to start school strong—backpacks, notebooks, crayons, pencils, and more. In 2025, over 300 children received school supplies, and we expect even more in 2026.
Want to help? Donate school supplies from our Amazon Wish List, give financially, or join us in person to help distribute the items with love.
Deep in the Heart of
Texas Gala
Our signature fundraiser is an unforgettable community celebration and impact evening. With dinner, live music, a keynote from Miss Texas, and an exciting auction, the Gala raises vital funds to sustain 5 Loaves' programs year-round.
Proceeds benefit the Mustard Seed Project mentorship program and our other programs. It's an incredible night to support a great cause.

Fall Fun at
Fall-O-Ween
In October, 5 Loaves sponsors the Pumpkin Decorating Station at Sachse's Fall-O-Ween festival—an evening full of costumes, games, entertainment, and seasonal joy.
We invite guests to bring a new box of mac' n cheese to support our food pantry and be entered for door prizes. It's fun with a purpose—and a way to meet new friends while helping neighbors in need.

Christmas for the Children
Each November/December, we host a heartwarming celebration for needy families. With the help of sponsors, volunteers, and community donors, kids visit Santa, create crafts, enjoy treats, and receive curated gift bags full of presents, special treats, and joy.
Through this special outreach, 460 children received gifts in 2024. Please help us make the 2025 celebration even bigger and brighter.
