Christmas for the Children
Because every child deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and loved.
At 5 Loaves Ministries, we believe that Christmas should be joyful—not stressful. The holidays can be especially heavy for families already facing hardship. That's why each December, we host Christmas for the Children, a heartwarming event that brings joy, dignity, and a little Christmas magic to local families in need.
From family fun and a curated bag of gifts to crafts, treats, and time with Santa, this event is a chance for children to experience the season with delight and for parents to feel supported, not forgotten.
What we provide
- Curated gift bags with toys, books, and essentials
- Holiday activities like crafts, snacks, and games
- Photos with Santa and moments that families treasure
- An environment of compassion, celebration, and community
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, donors, and volunteers, we served 460 children in 2024. With your help, we can make 2025 even more meaningful.

Give financially
Every dollar helps sponsor a complete Christmas experience for children. Your donation helps us fulfill Christmas wishes, not just work with what we have.
Volunteer
Help hand out gifts, set up crafts, serve snacks, or host a station at the event. It's one of the most joyful service opportunities of the year!
Join us at Christmas for the Children
Christmas for the Children is more than an event—it's a moment of relief, dignity, and celebration for families navigating difficult seasons. If you're in Sachse, Garland, Murphy, Wylie, or the greater Dallas area and want to give back this holiday season, we'd love to partner with you.
Together, we can remind every child that they are seen, known, and deeply loved.
